Is it normal for a sophomore to date a senior
We're still going nearly two years later. We actually just ended it, mainly because of the distance he is off at college very, very far away and I won't see him until May , but it was definitely worth it. If this guy is a normal, nice senior then I see no reason not to go for it. His friends will probably be accepting of you, and treat you just like one of them, no big deal. Just as long as you're sure he's not that scuzzy older guy type, because they do exist.
He was my best friend before we started dating though. It didn't last too long, but we didn't lose the friendship. Wait til college so you aren't miserable when he leaves take it from me. If you like him, one date won't kill you.
If it turns into something, it turns into something. It's possible that you'll find you're not compatible after a date, or two. It might be a little weird sometimes, because you're at different places in your life, but I wouldn't worry about it too much.
If the age difference or anything else makes you unhappy, you can always end the relationship. I'm a HS Senior female and the guy I'm dating right now is 24, which is a pretty big age difference. One lasted over a year and ended horribly. One is around 10 months now and the two are having a lot of problems. The other one is several months in and apparently still going strong. So while it's not unnatural to date someone 2 years younger in HS, keep in mind that she is not at the same maturity level and be prepared for any problems that may arise because of it.
Don't fool yourself like all of us did. Dodgeball Boy: Seriously, why is no one else concerned by the fact that Rayzer is cheating on his girlfriend? User Info: RobertWagner. So she'll be a junior your freshman year of college Lookin at she's 16 or 15 and you're That's gonna be a difficult thing to maintain long term.
It doesn't seem socially inexcusable. I've heard of it happening before and can actually recall being in that situation many many moons ago. I tried to troll Sailor Bacon for laughs once. I got warned, he now runs the the website. Lesson learned?
User Info: wutami. Well, I'd say do it, just keep in mind the different maturity levels, like previously stated. One of my best friends got with a guy two years older than her when she was a freshman, he was a junior. He's a freshman in college, she's a senior, and they're still madly inlove with eachother. I'm not saying they don't argue or anything, and they've definitely had their struggles she talked to me for about an hour and half about it once, believe me, they've had struggles , but they're still inlove.
Girl I was just wondering the same thing. He acted in the musical I was in with me and I did crew. At the cast party he was hardcore flirting I could tell and I could not help but flirt back somewhat I found out he was a sophomore after the fact as he looks like he is at least a junior. Now I feel like a creeper because I am thinking about him and I do not know if I should do something because of the age gap I mean I have a brother in his sophomore year, and its weird to think about going after someone who is my brother's age.
I mean I do not know I think I may just talk to him like a friend and see where it goes, but I just feel creepy somewhat even though older guys and younger girls are not seen as weird Please tell me what happened with y'all it may help me out.
I am not hardcore crushing or anything, but he is attractive if you know what I am saying. Is this still revelant? Habakkuk Xper 3. I know a senior guy dating a sophomore girl. If you're within the limits of that rule, then you're good. You can date no lower than 15 years old. Depending on your birthday, you might turn 18 before he turns 16, which would be temporarily creepy.
I love it. It's no big deal.
